夜間緊急手術後、何故か目が醒めてしまい、眠らなくても大丈夫かと思ってしまうことがある。しかし月に20件以上の緊急手術がある状況では休まないでいると次の手術に対応できない。手術が終わったらまず寝る。起きている医者がいたらまず寝かせる。10月は20件で済んだが、今月はそれを上回るペース。
