Recently, we were able to support an international patient with a highly complex aortic condition through open surgical treatment, postoperative recovery, and safe return home. At Kawasaki Aortic Center, we evaluate complex aortic diseases, including redo cases, extensive thoracoabdominal aneurysms, post-TEVAR complications, and infected grafts. Even when treatment options seem limited, open surgical reconstruction may still be possible in carefully selected patients. We welcome collaboration and referral discussions from physicians overseas.
