先週、台北栄民総医院を訪問し、Chen Tai-Wei教授と共に胸腹部大動脈置換術を執刀するという貴重な機会をいただきました。非常に刺激的で、素晴らしいコラボレーションとなりました。
手術の合間には、高雄や台南といった美しい都市を巡ることもできました。台湾は、いつ訪れても期待を裏切らない素晴らしい場所です。
川崎大動脈センターは、台湾血管外科学会をはじめ、台北栄民総医院、台中栄民総医院、そして花蓮慈済病院と活発なパートナーシップを維持しています。
こうした繋がりこそが、私たちが築こうとしている「アジアにおける、より強固で統合された大動脈外科コミュニティ」の礎です。私たちが共に成し遂げられることは、まだまだたくさんあります。
Last week, I had the privilege of visiting Taipei Veterans General Hospital to perform thoracoabdominal aortic replacement alongside Prof. Chen Tai-Wei — a truly inspiring collaboration. Between cases, I also explored the beautiful cities of Kaohsiung and Tainan. Taiwan never disappoints.
The Kawasaki Aortic Center maintains active partnerships with the Taiwan Vascular Society, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, and Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital. These connections are the foundation of what we’re building — a stronger, more unified aortic surgery community across Asia. There is still so much we can accomplish together.
