日常にある物資が一つなくなるだけでも医療が難しくなる。家族を避難させキーウで爆音の中手術する。尋常な精神力では耐えられない環境を生き抜く強さを感じました。
Dr. Sergei from Ukraine gave an in-hospital presentation on the topic of “Reality of cardiac surgery in Kiv during the Russian invasion.” Even if one everyday item is missing, medical care becomes difficult. His family was evacuated and he underwent surgery amidst the loud noise of the explosion. I felt that they had the strength to survive in an environment that their ordinary mental strength could not endure.
