タイの全土から川崎大動脈センターの見学に大勢の医師が集まってくれました。その中でも数名は川崎大動脈センターで手術技術を学んで本国で活躍する大動脈外科医たちです。思い出話にも花が咲き、楽しいひと時を過ごしました。
Many doctors from all over Thailand came to visit the Kawasaki Aortic Center. Among them, several are aortic surgeons who have learned surgical techniques at the Kawasaki Aortic Center and are active in their home country. The flowers bloomed in the memories, and we had a good time.
花蓮での大動脈手術ワークショップが終わりました。台湾の若い医師達の手術や患者に対する真摯な態度には本当に心動かされました。また沢山の先生方にお世話になり、レクチャーする機会も頂きありがとうございました。大動脈治療の進歩のために台湾との関係性を今後もさらに発展させたいです。

これから台湾のThe TSVS 2023 Aorta and Peripheral Artery Cadaver Workshopに参加しに行きます。今回は我々の施設で行なっている胸腹部大動脈人工血管置換術について話す機会を得ました。また40分の講義で我々の大動脈治療に対する考え方を伝える機会も頂きました。

来週からフィリピンの心臓血管外科の先生が新たに留学生として我々のチームに加わります。今までは6ヶ月のコースの方が多かったのですが、今回は２年間。半年滞在の先生方で大体150例ほどの大動脈手術を学んでもらっているので、彼にはさらに多くの経験を積んで学んでもらえます。
Excited to welcome a cardiovascular surgeon from the Philippines to our team next week as a new scholar. Unlike the usual 6-month term, he will be with us for 2 years. Given that our six-month scholars learn from about 150 aortic surgeries, he’ll gain even more experience!
今回の学会ではいろんな国の方々と知り合うことが出来ました。川崎からは大島、尾崎に加えて麻酔科の高山先生が当センターの脳保護戦略について発表しました。またモデレーターとしてコメントさせていただく機会もありました。
At this conference, I was able to meet people from various countries. In addition to Dr.Oshima and Dr.Ozaki from Kawasaki, Dr. Takayama from the Department of Anesthesiology gave a presentation on our center’s brain protection strategy. I also had the opportunity to comment as a moderator.
先ほどコルシカ島で行われているMASHという学会で発表させて頂きました。私たちの胸腹部大動脈瘤に対する手術戦略を話しました。質問もたくさん頂きました。百聞は一見にしかずといいますが、僕の発表で、1人でも川崎大動脈センターに興味を持って見学に来てくれる方が増えてくれると嬉しいです。
I presented at the MASH conference held in Corsica. I discussed our surgical strategy for thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms. I received many questions as well. As the saying goes, “seeing is believing,” I would be happy if even one person becomes interested in visiting the KAC.
フランスに学会で来ました。尾崎先生と麻酔科の高山先生も一緒です。今はノートルダム聖堂の前のカフェで朝ごはんを食べております。
I came to France for a conference. Dr. Ozaki and Dr. Takayama, an anesthesiologist, are also with us. I am having breakfast at a cafe in front of Notre Dame Cathedral.
今日はドクターカー要請がすでに5台。なぜか分かりませんが、大動脈解離は多い時は多く、来ない日は来ない。本当に不思議です。
There are already 5 doctor cars requested today. I don’t know why, but when there are many aortic dissections, there are many, and one day does not come. It’s really strange.
タイの心臓血管外科医パイ先生が日本に来たのでお会いしました。彼がKACに滞在したのは2013年。僕がまだまだ駆け出しの頃でした。僕よりも遥かに年上で偉い方なのに今でも友達として扱ってくれます。海外の先生方との交流は何にも変え難い我々の財産です。
Dr. Pai, a cardiovascular surgeon from Thailand who visited Japan. He stayed at KAC in 2013, when I was just starting out. Despite being much older and more accomplished than me, he still treats me like a friend. Our interactions with foreign doctors are invaluable assets.
トマジ先生がフランスに帰りました。彼の明るい性格がとてもいい雰囲気を川崎にもたらしてくれました。川崎で多くのことを学び、大動脈治療の第一人者としてフランスで活躍してくれることを信じてます。
Dr. Tomasi has returned to France. His bright personality brought a very good atmosphere to Kawasaki. I believe that he will learn a lot in Kawasaki and play an active role in France as a leading expert in aortic treatment.
