今朝のカンファレンスの様子です。タイの先生方と議論しながら有意義なカンファレンスになりました。本日は司会兼プレゼンターを広上先生にしてもらいました。

This morning’s conference went well as we had meaningful discussions with teachers from Thailand. Today, Dr. Hirokami served as both the moderator and presenter.

川崎大動脈センターへようこそ！～歓迎レセプションの様子～

タイから外科医16名を含む総勢40名余りの方々が見学に来られました。これは歓迎レセプションの写真です。司会は尾崎先生が務めてくれました。

More than 40 people, including 16 surgeons from Thailand, visited us for a study tour. This photo captures the welcome reception, where Dr. Ozaki served as the host.

川崎大動脈センターへ集結！タイの医師たちとの絆

タイの全土から川崎大動脈センターの見学に大勢の医師が集まってくれました。その中でも数名は川崎大動脈センターで手術技術を学んで本国で活躍する大動脈外科医たちです。思い出話にも花が咲き、楽しいひと時を過ごしました。


Many doctors from all over Thailand came to visit the Kawasaki Aortic Center. Among them, several are aortic surgeons who have learned surgical techniques at the Kawasaki Aortic Center and are active in their home country. The flowers bloomed in the memories, and we had a good time.

台湾医師の真摯な態度に感動

花蓮での大動脈手術ワークショップが終わりました。台湾の若い医師達の手術や患者に対する真摯な態度には本当に心動かされました。また沢山の先生方にお世話になり、レクチャーする機会も頂きありがとうございました。大動脈治療の進歩のために台湾との関係性を今後もさらに発展させたいです。

Concluded aortic workshop in Hualien. Inspired by Taiwan’s dedicated young doctors. Grateful for mentors and lecture opportunity. Eager to grow ties with Taiwan for aortic advancement.

台湾でのTSVS 2023へ参加

これから台湾のThe TSVS 2023 Aorta and Peripheral Artery Cadaver Workshopに参加しに行きます。今回は我々の施設で行なっている胸腹部大動脈人工血管置換術について話す機会を得ました。また40分の講義で我々の大動脈治療に対する考え方を伝える機会も頂きました。

Heading to The TSVS 2023 Aorta and Peripheral Artery Cadaver Workshop in Taiwan. Excited for the opportunity to share about KAC’s TAAAR procedure. Also honored to have a 40-minute lecture slot to convey our approach to aortic interventions.

フィリピンの先生がKACチームに参加

来週からフィリピンの心臓血管外科の先生が新たに留学生として我々のチームに加わります。今までは6ヶ月のコースの方が多かったのですが、今回は２年間。半年滞在の先生方で大体150例ほどの大動脈手術を学んでもらっているので、彼にはさらに多くの経験を積んで学んでもらえます。

Excited to welcome a cardiovascular surgeon from the Philippines to our team next week as a new scholar. Unlike the usual 6-month term, he will be with us for 2 years. Given that our six-month scholars learn from about 150 aortic surgeries, he’ll gain even more experience!

フランスの学会へ③

今回の学会ではいろんな国の方々と知り合うことが出来ました。川崎からは大島、尾崎に加えて麻酔科の高山先生が当センターの脳保護戦略について発表しました。またモデレーターとしてコメントさせていただく機会もありました。

At this conference, I was able to meet people from various countries. In addition to Dr.Oshima and Dr.Ozaki from Kawasaki, Dr. Takayama from the Department of Anesthesiology gave a presentation on our center’s brain protection strategy. I also had the opportunity to comment as a moderator.

フランスの学会へ②

先ほどコルシカ島で行われているMASHという学会で発表させて頂きました。私たちの胸腹部大動脈瘤に対する手術戦略を話しました。質問もたくさん頂きました。百聞は一見にしかずといいますが、僕の発表で、1人でも川崎大動脈センターに興味を持って見学に来てくれる方が増えてくれると嬉しいです。

I presented at the MASH conference held in Corsica. I discussed our surgical strategy for thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms. I received many questions as well. As the saying goes, “seeing is believing,” I would be happy if even one person becomes interested in visiting the KAC.

フランスの学会へ①

フランスに学会で来ました。尾崎先生と麻酔科の高山先生も一緒です。今はノートルダム聖堂の前のカフェで朝ごはんを食べております。

I came to France for a conference. Dr. Ozaki and Dr. Takayama, an anesthesiologist, are also with us. I am having breakfast at a cafe in front of Notre Dame Cathedral.

ドクターカーの不思議

今日はドクターカー要請がすでに5台。なぜか分かりませんが、大動脈解離は多い時は多く、来ない日は来ない。本当に不思議です。

There are already 5 doctor cars requested today. I don’t know why, but when there are many aortic dissections, there are many, and one day does not come. It’s really strange.
